Bakery & Restaurant Foods, Inc.

Following his father's well crafted recipe for success in the foodservice industry, Bill George moved to Missoula, bought Bakery & Restaurant Foods, and built it into a trusted and dependable company providing hundreds of customers throughout Western Montana with top quality products and value-added services. When Bill bought the fledgling company April 1, 1979, it was a bakery specialist. While he maintained the name, he set forth making changes to grow the company in a new direction.

By 1980, Bill had expanded his warehouse, employees and inventory. Bakery & Restaurant Foods was now a Nugget brand broadline foodservice distributor. In addition, the company had now become a part of a unique tripartite arrangement with Butte Produce and George's Foods. Over the years this relationship has increased buying power while simultaneously decreasing costs.

In 2000, Bakery & Restaurant Foods became a Pocahontas Foods USA distributor - part of a national network with over 200 distributors. Pocahontas is the industry's first brand, established over 100 years ago and guarantees satisfaction. In addition to Pocahontas we maintain hundreds of other local and national brand programs for maximum benefit and flexibility for our customers.

Over the last 38 years Bakery & Restaurant Foods has consistently grown in sales as we continue servicing mom and pop, white table cloth and corporate customers. We continually strive to live our motto "Large enough to serve, small enough to care!"
